Marjorie Marie Foster Keeter, age 79, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Keestone of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired manager from Walmart after 30 years of employment, and a member of Calvary Hill Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Kathryn Hughes Foster; her husband, Gene Keeter; two daughters, Mandy Staggs and Gail Maynard; one son, Randy Keeter; and one sister, Brenda Oliver.
She is survived by two daughters, Dana Thomas (Nate) and Meechie Staggs, both of Lawrenceburg, TN; nine grandchildren, Gina Patton of Lebanon, TN, Katie Trapp of KY, Crystal Yates of Lawrenceburg, TN, Brian Townsend of Lawrenceburg, TN, Casey Varner of Leoma, TN, Kayla McConnell of Lebanon, TN, Rylie Benefield of Lawrenceburg, TN, Katie Beth Thomas of Murfreesboro, TN, and Caroline Thomas of Nashville, TN; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one brother, Cleofis Foster of Lewisburg, TN. Those serving as pallbearers are Brian Townsend, Casey Varner, Adam Durham, Dakota Price, Trenton Caperton, and Will Yates.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2026, with Mark Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
