Robert Andrew "Drew" Brown Drew Brown, 25, of Trinity/Moulton, Alabama, passed suddenly on July 6, 2026. Born on May 20, 2001, in Huntsville, he was the beloved son of Amy McElreath and Keith and Kristi Brown and the cherished brother of Ben Brown, Kodee Teague and Karlie Schrimsher.

Throughout his life, Drew was the epitome of strength and perseverance. Known for his infectious smile, he breathed life into everyone he came into contact with. His compassionate nature and love for life were endearing to all who met him.

Drew showed his relentless fight for life when he overcame acute liver failure at the young age of four. He went on to graduate with honors from West Morgan High School and was a letterman on the Rebel football team. Drew was allowed to continue his passion for football at Coastal Carolina University, but his career was cut short before it ever began due to concerns about NCAA concussion protocol.

Drew returned home to earn his Associate’s Degree from Calhoun Community College in 2022. Most recently he was working as a foreman at N2 Grass Landscaping.

Beyond his early achievements in life, Drew’s passions were fishing, hunting, building his dream truck, and spending time with his friends and family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Peck Funeral Home on Saturday, July 18, at 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital or Living Free Recovery in Drew’s memory.
