James Richard Blackwell “Rickey”, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family.
Rickey was preceded in death by his Father-Resse Blackwell; Mother-Marie Blackwell; Brothers-Ronnie and Gary Blackwell.
He is survived by his Beloved Wife-Carolyn Blackwell; Sons-Sean Ford (Angela) and Brandon White (Jackie); Grandchildren-Ariel Ford, Cody Bridgemon and Austin Ford (Kimberly); treasured Great Grandchildren-Kovelynn and Caroline Ford.
Rickey Blackwell was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, whose greatest joy was his family. The memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Although our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort knowing his suffering has ended. He will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
