Visitation will be from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Caples passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Cullman Regional. He was born, August 30, 1938, to David Richard Caples and Bessie Lois Lamb.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeanette Caples; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Survivors include his children; David (Jeanie) A Caples, John (Judi) Caples, Teresa (Dike) Moss, Lois (Jesse) Hall; grandchildren, Michelle (Allen) Sears, Cecilia Caples, Rebeka (Skylar) Smith, Cristi (Randy) Narrell, Jared (Stacy) Caples, Letisha (Fredrick) Antone, Sarah (Christopher) Hanson, Kathren (Jonathan) Dolloff, and Samantha (Deaven) Strong, Dara (Matt) Bentley, Zana (Jared) Jones; 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Margie Clements, Joyce King, and Linda Myrick; brother, Dennis Caples; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
