John was born on January 19, 1939, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late John Marshall Braselton, Sr. and Georgia Mae Grant Braselton, and passed away on June 28, 2026. He proudly served his country for 20 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves and later worked as an electrical maintenance technician for Amana.
