Funeral Services for Joan Margaret Mitchell age 80 of Vinemont will be held at 1:00 pm. on Wednesday July 1 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Livingston Chapel Cemetery, with Pastor DA Slinkard officiating
Moss-Service Funeral Home of Cullman is directing.
Margaret was born May 27, 1946 in Cullman to the late Leon Pruett and Hazel Hall. She passed away in her home on June 25, 2026. Margaret was a mother, a Nanna and great great-nanna and most of a woman who loved the Lord. She enjoyed reading, gardening, thrifting and just spending time with her babies.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents: Leon Pruett and Hazel Hall, her brother Wayne Pruett, her husband HP Mitchell JR. and her son Mark Anthony Pruett Dickinson, great grandchild Fehr Bazil Poulos
She is survived by–two 2 – Daughters – Robin McCulloch of Trinity and Nancy Mitchell of Cullman Grandchildren six 6 Russell (Tina) Dickinson; Ryan McCulloch, Brittany Dickinson Young, Feribah Mitchell, Nate Merrill and Auston-Claire (Dwight) Poulos; and six 6– Great-Grandchildren – Ryland , Addi, Presley, India Rose, Sophia Iris and one Ronen Callahan arriving soon, a Host of Nieces, Nephews, and other Family & friends also survive.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, June 30, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Please share a memory with the family on-line at www.mossservicefh.com .
