Wanda Jean Bates, age 61, of Sheffield, passed away on June 23, 2026, at her residence. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie Lee Bates; grandson, Brayden Stutts; “Mom” Bonnie Bates; sister-in-law, Shannon Murray (Thomas), stepdaughter, Aundrea Weeks (Ken); eight other grandchildren; special friend, Donna Peebles; and fur babies, Chloe, Bella, Lacey, Betty Boop, and Paisley.
