Bobbie June Spivey Brown, born June 1, 1936, passed away peacefully on June 26,2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and thoughtful kindness that touched countless lives.

June was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Floyd Brown, her parents, Jim and Susie Spivey, and her brothers, Larry Spivey and Jimmy Spivey.

She is survived by her loving children, Kim (John) Wassermann and Kerry (Denise) Brown. June was a devoted grandmother to Ryan Derryberry, Lauren (Morgan) Abrigo, Will (Stacey) Brown, and Peyton Brown, and she was joyfully blessed with five great-grandchildren, whom she dearly adored. She is also survived by her sisters, Tonja Doblado and Debbie Allen, along with many extended family members and friends.

June retired from Faber‑Castell where she dedicated many years of faithful service. She was a devoted member of the Westvue Church of Christ, where her quiet but meaningful ministry was felt by many. One of her greatest passions was sending cards—thoughtfully written and lovingly mailed—for every occasion imaginable, offering encouragement, sympathy, celebration, or simply a reminder that someone cared. She had a gift for capturing life’s special moments through photography and cherished preserving memories of family and friends. June also enjoyed cheering for her favorite teams, especially the Atlanta Braves and University of Tennessee Volunteers football. Known for her gentle spirit, faith-filled life, and unwavering love for her family, June will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to her caregivers at Village Manor and Gentiva. She was truly blessed to have such wonderful people to care for her.
