Mary Virginia Conkle Williams Pettit, 88, of Hartselle passed away June 19, 2013 at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville.
She was preceded in death by father, Elijah Aikens Conkle; mother, Fannie Hulett Coleman Conkle; husband, William Palmer Williams Sr.; brother, Charles Royce Conkle Sr.; and grandson, Russell Terry Arthur.
She is survived by daughter, Gloria Williams Arthur of Decatur; sons, William Palmer Williams Jr.(Pamela) of Warner Robbins, Ga., Rodney Dee Williams (Patricia) of Vancouver, Wash., Jeffery Lee Williams of Arlington, Texas, Michael Timothy Williams (Anna) of Hartselle; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service by the family will be held at a later date.
