Jimmie R. Shores, 90, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonah Ray Shores; father, Stute Parker; mother, Ider Lindy Parker; brother, Bill Parker; sister, Lillian Parker; brother, Thomas Parker; sister, Ruth Parker; sister-in-law, Rose Parker; great-great nephew, Jaxxon Tucker; niece, Debra Youngblood; nephew, Steve Youngblood; and niece, Dyan Youngblood.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews that were like children, Robert/Ingrid Parker, Margaret/David Taylor, David/Jennifer Parker, Jammie Parker, and Stuart Kirkchoff; Many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews that were like grandchildren. And a great friend that was like family, Mariana Ruiz and family.
Visitation will be Saturday 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow Saturday at 1:00 PM with Larry Robinson officiating.
Interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens Monday at 4:00 PM.
