Steven G. Jansen Memorial Service for Steven G. Jansen, age 53, of Hartselle will be Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 6:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ben Bates officiating.

He died on June 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, deep faith, and a fierce love for his family.

Born on April 4, 1973, in Rhode Island to John and Rose Marie Jansen, Steven was a man who found his calling early in life. He discovered a passion for welding as a teenager, turning a skilled trade into a lifelong craft. Known for his incredible work ethic, Steven poured his heart into everything he built and fixed, passionate about a hard day’s work and proud of the dedication it took.

Steven was a God-loving man who walked through life with a generous heart. He believed deeply in helping people the absolute best he could, quietly showing up for others and putting his faith into action through his kindness.  He was a member of New Center Baptist Church.

Above all, Steven was an amazing father, sharing an unbreakable bond with his son, Zachary Steven Jansen. He also leaves behind his beloved family, a brother; Gordon Jansen (Liz), and his Godson, Jared, whom he loved dearly.

Steven is now reunited in peace with his beloved mother, his brother Mark, and his sister Marylou, who preceded him in death.

To know Steven was to know his unmistakable way with words. Whether he was throwing out a classic “r-ah” or playfully asking, “Are you making fun of me?”, his unique catchphrases and humor brought constant light and laughter to the people around him. His voice, his humor, and his deep love will be missed beyond measure, but his spirit will be forever carried in the hearts of those who knew him best.
