Sarah Elaine Davis, age 33, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Sarah was born June 23, 1992, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Eric Davis and Susan Smith Topping. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Doyle “Papaw” Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Railling, daughter Clarke Railling and stepson Tyler Railling; mother, Susan (Chuck) Topping of Rock Spring, Georgia; father Eric Davis of Cornersville; two brothers, Tate Davis of Lewisburg and Bailey (Ashley) Davis of Lewisburg; niece Aurora Davis; nephews, Rowan Davis and River Davis; several aunts and uncles.
Sarah devoted her life to caring for others, both in her work and in her home. As the Assistant Manager at Franklin Springs Academy Daycare Center, she found great joy in nurturing and caring for children. Later, she opened her home and heart to families by providing childcare at little cost, simply because of her deep love for children and her desire to help others.
Sarah brought beauty and joy into the lives of those around her in so many ways. She had a special love for all things Disney and treasured her collection of movies, music, and memorabilia. She was incredibly talented and creative, gifted in drawing, painting, and lovingly styling her daughter’s hair in beautiful and imaginative ways. She was also a wonderful cook who found happiness in preparing meals and sharing them generously with family and friends.
Above all, Sarah will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Her kindness, warmth, creativity, and giving spirit touched so many lives. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Cornersville Funeral Home, 310 North Main St., Cornersville, TN, with burial of her cremains in New Hope Cemetery at a later date.
