Jerry Neal Mitchell, 91, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at his residence. He was a sales representative at Printers and Stationers Inc. and served in the Army Reserves. Jerry was a member of First United Methodist Church of Florence.
A private graveside service will be held at Greenview Memorial Park.
Jerry was proceeded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ann Clayton Mitchell.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Clayton Mitchell (Karen Smith); daughter, Jill Mitchell Schlosser (Andrew); brothers, Dwight Stephen “Steve” Mitchell and Bruce Edwin Mitchell; grandchildren, Brandon Thomas Mitchell (Kaitlyn Manton), Joshua Clayton Mitchell (Morgan Curtis), Courtney Elizabeth Schlosser, Ashley Nicole Schlosser; great-granddaughter, Ellie Rose Mitchell.
Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
