Allen Ray Blouir, Sr., 82, of Union Grove, Alabama, passed away at his home on Saturday morning, June 13, 2026. He was born on November 30, 1943, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, to Riley Mac Blouir and Roxie Mae Tennant Blouir, one of thirteen children. Allen was of the Baptist faith, worked as a professional truck driver for Prince Trucking, and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Allen was an honorable man with an old-fashioned spirit. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who deeply loved his family. He especially treasured his role as Pawpaw to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, working on cars and small engines, watching TV westerns, and savoring Little Debbie snack cakes and Mt. Dew.
Allen is survived by: His wife, Ellen Ruth Abercrombie Blouir; sons, Robert Riley Blouir and Allen Ray Blouir, Jr.; daughters, Tammy Lynn Blouir Parker and Amy Elizabeth Blouir Towles; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by: His mother, Roxie Mae Blouir; His father, Riley Mac Blouir; and His sons, Charles Allen Blouir and Glenard Kevin Blouir.
In keeping with Allen’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation. No services are planned at this time. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
