  Doris Brewer Perkins Profile PhotoDoris Brewer Perkins was born on November 15, 1943, in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Hershel and Bernice Rhea Stanfill Brewer.

On August 31, 1973, she was united in marriage to Robert Harrison Perkins, who survives.

Doris graduated from Brandon High School in Brandon, Florida. She cherished her last two years of high school and especially enjoyed being on the cheerleading team. Doris worked in management in the apparel manufacturing business. After retirement, she worked in the office at her daughter’s business, Danceforce, for twelve years. Doris was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah.

Doris loved her family deeply and was known for her witty personality. She enjoyed going shopping and traveling, especially trips to the beach.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Harry” Perkins of Adamsville, Tennessee; sons, Shane Copeland (Lori) of Gallatin, Tennessee and Keith Copeland (Connie) of Longwood, Florida; daughter, Brandi Franks (Jaime) of Jackson, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tara Copeland, Kara Walls, Andrew Copeland, Cody Copeland, Brianna Copeland, and Owen Franks; and great grandchildren, Eason Walls, Beau Walls, Jovi Walls, Neecie Walls, Cayden Copeland, Korbin Copeland, Karsyn Copeland, Kobe Copeland, and Leon Jesse Nations.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her brother, Rusty Brewer; and sisters, Annette Brewer and Janette Brewer.
