MORGAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident in Morgan County that has taken the life of one person and sent another person to hospital:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 9:35 a.m. Monday, June 8, has claimed the life of a Rainbow City woman.
Stevi P. Cox, 46, was fatally injured when the 2026 Mitsubishi Eclipse that she was driving collided head-on with a 2022 Jeep Gladiator driven by Nathan J. McKee, 25, of Pinson. Cox was pronounced deceased at the scene. Mckee was injured and transported to Marshall Medical Hospital for treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama 67 near Ryan Loop Road, approximately five miles north of Joppa, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
