Betty "Maw Maw" Wade Betty (Maw Maw) Wade, age 94, passed peacefully from this life on June 4, 2026 at Burns Nursing Home. The entire Wade Family wishes to express their sincere and heartfelt appreciation to the staff and management of Burns Nursing Home, Dr. Kevin Kelly and all her caregivers for the comprehensive, loving, care they provided to Maw Maw during her final years and Dr. Kelly.

Maw Maw was born on February 24, 1932, to the late Willie and Gladys Monasco. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Russellville. She was married to the late Roland Earl Wade.

As an owner of Terrace Manor Nursing Home for decades, and a loving nurse, she touched the lives of countless people over the years. The employees of Terrace Manor Honored her in 2012, saying “your hard work is an example for others to follow, and your dedication is an inspiration to all of us. We love you”.

Maw Maw was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Phillip Wade; grandson, Brian Wade; brothers, Gene Manasco, and Bobby Manasco.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son Michael Earl Wade (Dawn); daughter-in-law, Sherene Wade; grandchildren, Jay Benson (Kelli), Robert Dax Wade, Parker Jackson (Ryan), Lydia Wade, Esq., Dr. Laurel Jeong (Jaden); five (5) great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.

In keeping with Maw Maw’s wishes, there will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, at Walker Memorial Garden in Jasper (692 AL-5, Jasper, AL). Friends are welcome to come celebrate a life devoted to serving others.

Maw Maw loved receiving flowers. Should anyone choose to send flowers for the service, please send them to Pinkard’s Funeral Home Russellville for delivery to the service. Alternatively, should anyone choose to honor her, Maw Maw wanted donations to be made to The First Baptist Church of Russellville.
