Max Scott, age 81, of Boaz, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
His funeral service will be 4 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Albertville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Bro. Thom Scott, Bro. Randall Morton, and Bro. Joe Davis will officiate. The pallbearers will be David, Don, Thom, Kyle, Eric, Steve, Frank, Sammy, Joey, and Scottie Scott, and Brelan Maltbie. The honorary pallbearers will be the Crossville High School Class of 1963 and friends at the lake. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday before the service at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years; Cecilia Scott, daughter; Robin Alexander (Tommy), son; Brad Scott (Nikki), grandchildren; Will and Caroline Scott, brother; Frank Scott (Linda), and a host of nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Sam and Johnnie Scott, and siblings; Modene, Buddy, Herbert, Bennis, Bill, Lefty, and Jacky.
