Effie Mae Odle Steward Effie Mae Odle Stewart, born on January 8, 1936, in Pontotoc, MS, passed away on June 4, 2026, at NMMC Hospice. She was the beloved daughter of Duff and Mamie Hutchison Odle. Effie spent many years farming alongside her husband and later worked at Action Industries before retiring.

Effie is survived by her five sons, Earl Steward (Nell), Jimmy Steward, Tommy Steward (Rendi), Rodney Steward, and Paul Steward (Barbara); her four daughters, Carolyn Robertson, Glenda Dunlap (Danny), Janet Scott, and Wanda Moore; her sister, Mary Faye McMinn; her sister-in-law, Gladys Odle; as well as 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Billy and Buster Odle, her three sisters, Virgie Watkins, Mozelle Tutor, and Mary Lou Odle Moore, her granddaughter, Shaunda Daniels, her daughters-in-law, Gail Steward and Cindy Steward, her son-in-law, Bud Robertson, and numerous other cherished family members.

Services will be held at 1PM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-8PM and again Saturday morning from 11AM until service time. Burial will follow in Hopewell (Glasgow) Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Robertson, Gable Seward, Jason Steward, Dalton Steward, Josh Steward, and Sonny Holcomb.

Honorary Pallbearers will include Chad Holcomb, Nathan Aaron, Shane and Jonathan Robertson, Will Frazier II, Will Frazier III, Mathew Baggett, David, Mason, and Milo Steward, Chad Russell, Hub Dillard, Tyler Russell, Curt Silver, Ronnie Aaron, Michael and Jason Osborn, Luke Ward, Matt Halls, Bubba Silver, Cole Ward, Joel and Carter Angle, Austin Gasaway, Logan Burger, Connor Daniels, Wyatt Steward, Kash Holcomb, Haden Dillard, and Nate Stutsy.
