Eleanor Lackey Allen  Eleanor Lackey Allen, age 88, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on June 2, 2026.
Mrs. Allen was born on December 26, 1937, to the late Willie B. Lackey and Eva Lowrey Lackey. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with those she loved. Her kindness, faith, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Deena Allen Brown and Johnna Allen Williams (Dale); son, John Martin Allen (Karen); grandchildren, Frank (Lynsey) Mason, Melia Rogers, Heather (Michael) Bledsoe, Ashlay (Cody) Kalonick, Johnathan (Darby) Allen, Sam Williams, and Max Williams; great-grandchildren, Mark Mason, Landon Smith, Abby Smith, Maddie Garrett, Ryleigh Bledsoe, John Riley Allen, Oliver Bledsoe, and Aurora Kalonick; sisters-in-law, Glenda Allen Windsor, Janice Allen (Jerry) Simmons, and Sara Allen; special cousins, Adna Roden, Betty Chambers, and Mildred Lowrey; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Allen; daughter, Melia Allen; parents, Willie B. Lackey and Eva Lowrey Lackey; brother, Sonny Lackey (Shirley); sister, Madge Marbut; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John Wesley Allen and Ollie Mae Allen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, in the Chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Knight, Bro. Chris Reaves, and Richard Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at High Point Cemetery in Albertville. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Sonny Allen, Jeff Allen, Joey Allen, Scotty Allen, Phillip Reaves, and Randall Terrell.
