Selina was born to Harlan and Mildred Terry Taylor on May 27, 1968, in Athens.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons Kaycen and Kaiden; and sister Debbie Taylor.
Survivors include her husband Virgel “Don” Wheatley; son Matthew Wheatley; daughter Kayla Hunt; seven stepchildren; sister Mary Elizabeth Taylor; niece Makayla “Dani” Taylor and her beloved dog Remi.
Mrs. Wheatley was a homemaker who loved to spend her time gardening and cooking. She was an avid animal lover as well. Selina was a member of The Word of Life Church at Coxey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 3, 2026, from 6-8 PM at McConnell Funeral Home. A graveside service in her honor will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Lentzville Cemetery at 10 AM.
Pallbearers will be Jerry McNealy, Dwayne Swopes, John Michael Hunt, Jerry Collins, Jay Foster and Chad Carter.
