Debra Barnes Erwin, 72, of Dora, passed away May 31, 2026.
Debra worked in credit and collections for about 50 years. She was a loving and devoted, daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her puppy Macie, Alabama football, and the Great Smokey Mountains.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Carolyn Barnes, her first husband, Terry Martin and her sister, Veronica Pickens.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Erwin, daughter, Ashlee (Patrick) Harrison, stepdaughter,
Nicole Erwin, stepson, Matt (Amanda) Erwin; six, grandchildren, Austin(Olivia) Bates, Clay McNutt and Kalea, Kelsi and Austyn Harrison, and John Henry; great grandchildren, Everett, Eliana and Delaney; brother, Steve Barnes; sisters, Cathy (Ronnie) Crapps and Tracy (Randy) Campbell; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 11am from New Horizon Chapel. The family receive friends Wednesday, June 3 from Ty 6 until 8pm. Burial will follow the service in Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer.
