Graveside services for Mrs. Elizabeth Cole Buckingham, age 103, will be Thursday June 4, 2026, at 11 AM in Oakland Cemetery in Trenton, TN, with Dr. Brad Patterson officiating.
Mrs. Elizabeth Cole Buckingham was born June 30, 1922, in the Eaton community to Finley and Mary Ray. She attended school at Spring Hill. In 1944, she married Milligan Cole, to this union was born two children, Jackie Cole and Lee Cole. Milligan was a successful farmer and cattleman, and he passed away in August of 1976. In 1991, she married Delgren Buckingham. They had 20 years together, singing and dancing. He passed away in 2010. She was an excellent pianist at Olive Branch Church for 70 years.
Mrs. Buckingham was preceded in death by her son, Jackie Cole; her grandson, Bryon Cole; and her parents, Finley and Mary (Bell) Ray.
Mrs. Buckingham is survived by a son, Lee and wife Brenda Cole; a daughter-in-law Judy Cole; four grandchildren Trent Cole, Holly and husband Taylor Davis, Alan and wife Kimberly Cole, and Amy and husband Steve McAllister; five great grandchildren Deonna Cole, Lynden Cole, Adriana McAllister, Jett McAllister, and Mia Davis; and a sister-in-law, Marilyn and husband Neal Page.
