Jerry Burns Mitchell, 60 of Florence, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026. No services are planned at this time.
Jerry worked as a tool and die machinist for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Mitchell; father, Buford Mitchell; mother, Faye Tubbs; brother, Terry Elliott; sister, Jeannie Hill; and son-in-law, Michael Smith.
He is survived by his sons, Zachary Mitchell and Brandon Mitchell; daughter, Brandy Mitchell; step daughters, Casey Filyaw and Cammie Smith; step son, Brad Osborn; brother, Bryan Mitchell; sister, Tammy Uptain; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
