Mrs. Joann Chamblee, age 88, of Boaz, Alabama died on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at Eleven o’clock am on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Pleasant Hill #1 Baptist Church with Kevin Ratcliff, Bro. Bruce Campbell, Bro. Daryl Ross and Bro. Shane Ross officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00am until service time at church.
Mrs. Chamblee was born in Alabama on July 25, 1937, to Hermos & Ruby Haynie Ross.
Mrs. Chamblee is survived by her Son & Daughter-in-Law: Tim & Melinda Nixon of Albertville. Grandchildren: Micah Nixon, Makayla Nixon. Sisters & Brother-in-Law: Kathy & Michael Elkins of Boaz, Carolyn Walker of Boaz. Brother & Sister-in-Law: Jimmy & Happy Ross of Boaz.
Mrs. Chamblee was preceded in death by her Parents: Hermos & Ruby Ross. Husband: C.B. Chamblee.
Pallbearers will be Nephews.
Family will except flowers or donations to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice 408 Martling Road, Albertville, Al. 35951.
