Mary Elliott Barton, 83 of the Argo community, passed away May 24, 2026, at her residence.
She was a member of Hillside Church in Dora. She was a Cub Scout Leader for Pack 120 in Dora. She worked as a Rural Mail Carrier. She enjoyed traveling and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Newt and Cora Mae Elliott, and Husband, Charles Donald Barton.
She is survived by her sons, Greg Creel and wife Bernice, and Ben Creel and wife Rhonda; grandchildren, Adam Creel (Nina), Ryan Creel (Kaci), Jennifer Siskoff (Jonathan), Spencer Barton (Courtney), and Scott Barton; numerous great grandchildren, several other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Servies will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 2:00pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm. Pastor Sammy Hodges will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Adam Creel, Ryan Creel, Jonathan Siskoff, Spencer Barton, Wayne Sanford, and Jack Bergsieker.
