Edra Nell Hulsey, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Alive Hospice at Saint Thomas in Nashville, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired clerk from Chuck Brewer Chevrolet, and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church where her parents were charter members. She was also a member of Red Hat Society, PBW, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Make Today Count Cancer Support Group, and a 4H leader for 10 years for Lawrence Co., TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John P. “J.P.” and Effie Mable Martin Umphrey; her husband, Alton Hulsey; and one son, Wm. Don Hulsey.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Mars Hill Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 19, 2013, with Bro. Mickey Brackin officiating. Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Make Today Count and St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
