Ronald Joe Gasque, 76, of Russellville, AL died on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Visitation will be Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 5-7 at Colbert Memorial Chapel. A service will be on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 2 pm in Colbert Memorial Chapel. Bro. Ricky Robins and Bro. Terry Bendall will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
He was a member of New LaGrange Missionary Baptist Church. He also was a former pastor to several Baptist Churches throughout his life. Ronald faithfully served his country in the United States Navy for eight years. He was stationed aboard the USS Edward McDonnell. Ronald was a devoted tomato farmer. He was also a member of Washington Lodge 36 F. & A.M.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jo and Jeannette Gasque; daughter Donna Jo Gasque; brother, Danny Lee Gasque; sister, Mary Jane Michael.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years. Lenda Kimbrough Gasque; son Andrew Gasque (Bonita); daughter, Rhonda Davis (Matt); brother John Wayne Gasque; sister, Peggy Houston; grandchildren, BreAnna Rodgers (Trey), Bethany Holt (Patrick), Addison Waldrep (Foster), Evan Davis, Leah Davis; great grandchildren, Rowan Waldrep, Colson Holt; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Matt Davis, Evan Davis, Trey Rodgers, Patrick Holt, Foster Waldrep, Gary Quinn.
