Robbie Marberry, 52, of Ardmore, Alabama, passed away on Friday, May 15th.
Robbie loved life simply and well. He was a proud and devoted Alabama Crimson Tide fan who loved talking football almost as much as he loved cheering them on. He enjoyed spirited drives in fast cars and cherished time spent with his family and friends. He was a member of a local car club and loved attending car shows with his wife and working on their Mustang. Robbie worked in the Security & Access Control industry for 30 years where he had many colleagues and customers who had the utmost respect and admiration, for not only his work but the wonderful person he was.
He was preceded in death by father, Monroe “Tubby” Marberry, grandparents, Berry & Frankie Marberry, Johnny & Latresia “Traci” Johnson, Theodore & Helen Blake, great grandparents Bruce & Carrie Yarbrough, Hughey & Asreen McKinney, John & Lelia Blake.
He is survived by his wife, Kristen Hilliard Marberry; stepdaughters Sydney and Piper DeGurse; his mother, Becky Champion; his sister, Traci Holladay, and her husband Bobby; nieces Grace Stewart and Drew Whitt Haney (Wilson) and nephew Grant Whitt (Mary Elliott), as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins he loved dearly.
Pallbearers: Brandon Erwin, Paul Horstman, Gary Cathcart, Bobby Holladay, Grant Whitt and Adam Ackerman.
