Logo Icon Mary Frances Clemmer, 78, resident of Walnut, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Per her request, she will be cremated.

Born on November 12, 1947, in Brownsfield, Mississippi, to the late Kenneth and Lila Russell Clemmer, Mary received her education from Fraser High School in Memphis, Tennessee. A Christian in faith, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life — spending time outdoors, fishing, and hunting treasures at yard sales. Mary had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and loved making people laugh. If she gave you a hard time, you could be sure it meant she cared deeply for you. Above all else, she cherished her family, especially her beloved great-grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her life.

Mrs. Clemmer is survived by her daughter, Donyale Folsom of Walnut; five grandchildren, Amber Bryan (Dalton), Charette Lewis (James), Heather King (Darrell), Quintien Folsom (Niki), and Johnathon Folsom; and eight much adored great-grandchildren, Mekeaghan Darling, Kadience Lewis, Izzabelle Bryan, William Bryan, Kaleigh King, Payton Folsom, Paisleigh Folsom, and Quintien Folsom, Jr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her family members who welcomed her home in Heaven.

Ripley Funeral Home invites you to share memories and condolences with the Clemmer family.
