Deborah Lynn Smith, age 67 of Fort Payne, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at her residence. She was born on February 22, 1959 in Madison, IN to Emerson & Grace Shelley Lee. She worked for MAPCO for many years as a manager.
Funeral services for Ms. Smith will be 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Lebanon Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the church. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Madison, IN.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Miranda & Chris O’Shields; mother, Grace Lee; brothers, Ronnie Lee, Mark Lee and Philip Lee; sisters, Melanie Morris and Brenda Smith; and grandchildren, Caitlyn O’Shields and Logan O’Shields.
She was preceded in death by her father, Emerson Lee.
