Joseph Scott “Joey” Henderson, 53, of Fort Payne, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026. He was born in Georgia on January 15, 1973, to Johnny LeDale Henderson and Marta Joan Bachelor. He was a hydraulic electrician for Southern Wholesale Fibers.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. hour of service. Following the service, the family will honor his request to be cremated.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years Denise Henderson; mother Marta Bachelor; children Phillip Henderson and wife Amber, Jaycee Gipson and husband Marc, and Dakota Henderson and wife Shelby; grandchildren Mitchell, Olivia, Sophia, Memphis, Keighan, Avery, Zoey, Parker, Remi, and Huxton; brothers Johnathan Henderson and wife Jennifer and Matthew Henderson and wife Vanessa; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Johnny Henderson.
