Fred "Monroe" Churchill, Sr. Profile PhotoFuneral services for Monroe Churchill, 69, of Corinth are set for Monday, May 18, 2026 at 2pm at Strickland Church of Christ with interment in Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, Ripley, MS. Visitation will be Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 5pm-8pm at Magnolia Funeral Home- East and Monday, May 18, 2026 from 12pm-2pm at Strickland Church of Christ. Minister Terry Smith will officiate the service. Toby Mardis and Fred Churchill, Jr. will deliver comments. Pallbearers will be Tim Moody, Brandon Thompson, Tim Russell, Matthew Seahorn, Blake Baughman and Robert Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Moody, Ray Wallace and Mitchell Berryman. Born May 31, 1956 in Myrtle, MS., Mr. Churchill passed from this life on May 15, 2026 in Corinth, MS. He was a member of Strickland Church of Christ. He was a retired framer for KNL Frames. Monroe was a Volunteer Firefighter when he lived in Ecru, MS where he served as Assistant Chief for 18 years and Chief for 16 years. He loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren, fishing and getting out of the house and riding around. Monroe is survived by his son, Fred Churchill, Jr. (Lyn); granddaughter, Annalynn Louise Churchill; 5 honorary grandchildren; sisters, Robin Clark (Nathan), Sara Chism, Jane Mardis (Tony) and Georgia Carlisle; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Becky Churchill’ son, James Lonnie Churchill; daughter, Melissa Ann Churchill; father, Monroe Little and mother, Eula Churchill (Fred).
