911 Call Leads To Drug Trafficking Arrests

Madison PoliceMADISON-On Saturday, November 28 Madison Police respond to a 911 call at an address on Metaire Lane.  The Madison Police Department released this statement regarding the call:

On November 28, Madison Police Officers responded to a residence on Metaire Lane regarding a 911 call. During the investigation, officers discovered contraband and obtained a search warrant for the residence.

MPD Officers and members of the Street Crimes Unit discovered a marihuana “grow operation” in a storage building at the residence. Fifty marihuana plants were confiscated as well as an amount that had been harvested and was ready for distribution. In addition to the confiscation of marihuana, equipment used to grow the marihuana was confiscated, along with four firearms, including a semi-automatic assault rifle.

Two arrests were made for Trafficking in Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

William Jason Parmely, 34 years old, of Madison, AL was booked into the Madison County Jail with a $10,500.00 Bond.

Jessica Lauren Parmely, 29 years old, of Madison, AL was booked into the Madison County Jail with a $10,500.00 Bond.”
