9 Suspects Arrested After Report Of Stolen Vehicle At Reported Drug House

SOMERVILLE-The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department issued a press release on the arrests of nine individuals on various drug charges in Somerville.  Names of the arrested suspects have not been released.  When the names become available we will list them here:

“Earlier today, Wednesdayy, January 22  the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department  joined investigators with the Hartselle Police Department as they followed up on a stolen vehicle report at a residence on Union Rd in Somerville. Once on scene Deputies made contact with an individual exiting the residence who was in possession of methamphetamine.

Deputies detained the individual and determined the house contained additional individuals and alleged illegal narcotics.

Agents made contact with an additional 9 individual’s and executed a search warrant which lead to the discovery of approximately 3 ounces of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents from the Sheriff’s Office and Hartselle Police Department arrested 9 individuals with assorted charges from Trafficking in Methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering in a drug house. Additionally, 2 individuals had outstanding warrants. The vehicle that had been reported stolen was also recovered.

All subjects were transported to the Morgan County Jail.
