Beverly Anne Melrose, age 79 of Huntsville, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at her home. Mrs. Melrose was born on August 8, 1944, in Michigan to Ray Woods and Ruby Allen Woods. Beverly loved to read, watch the birds in her backyard, and give gifts to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Melrose, Sr.; her parents, Ray, and Ruby Woods; brothers, Jimmy “Jim” Woods, and Bob Woods; sisters, Phyllis Woods, Jeannie Woods, and Glenda Woods. She is survived by her children, Robert (Shawna) Melrose and Cynthia Melrose; grandchildren, Christopher Melrose, and Lauren Pellem; great grandchildren, Taylor and Kade Pellem; brother, Richard Woods, Jr.; sister, Becky Woods; a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will have a celebration of life service at a later date and time.
