William Allan Hardison, age 64 of Estill Springs, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on November 11, 1958, to the late Frederick Thomas and Marveline (Reed) Hardison. Before his retirement, he had been employed as a welder. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed cheering for the University of Tennessee Volunteers, watching NASCAR, fishing, and watching his grandkids play sports. His caring personality was evident in his willingness to always help others. Allan was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Freddie Hardison, and Timmy Hardison; and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Allan is survived by his sons, Chris (Kim) Hardison, Bradley Hardison, and Steven (Ryan) Hardison; grandchildren, Rhea Cook, Kirstyn Hardison, Arianna Hardison, Jacob Hardison, Jaden Hardison, and Bella Stockton; great-granddaughter, Emrie Grace Walls; siblings, Shirley Bailey, Freda Nunley, and Adam Hardison; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 20, 2023, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Michael Beasley officiating. Interment will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.
