Charles Roy “C.R.” Bennett, age 84, Haleyville, Al. passed away Friday March 1, 2-13 at his home. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his Wife of 59 years, Winnie Jo Bennett; daughter, Martha Jo Smith, her husband, Tim; A host of relatives and friends. His was preceded in death by, Parents, Gary and Mary Azilee Bennett; Sisters, Helen Gentry, Earlene Locke, Bell Walker, Martha Bryant and Rose McIntyre. His visitation will be held Saturday March 2, 2013 6:00-9:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, Al., with his funeral held on Sunday March 3, 2013 at 2:00PM in the chapel, with Bro. Earl Butler and Rev. Randall Tice officiating, burial to follow at Winston Memorial Cemetery.
