Roy Mack Jones, 36 of Double Springs passed away on March 2, 2013.

He was born on December 3, 1976 in Haleyville. He graduated Winston County High School in 1994 and went on to serve our country in the United States Air Force. He worked for Jeneric Computers from 2001-2007 and with the Haleyville School system since 2008.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 6-9pm at Double Springs First Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 3pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. Reverend Bill Frank Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Millstone Mountain Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lynette Jones; mother, Virginia Seymour; step brothers, Bart (Jennifer) Seymour, and John (Susan) Seymour; sister, Pamela Treece; step sister, Georganna (Steve) Comeens; adopted sister, Tierney Riddle; lifelong friends, Ron Padgett, Jerry Hill and Josh Gurley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel “Cotton” Jones; step father, Corbin Seymour; paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Othle Jones; and maternal grandparents, Henry and Mary Bryant.
