John David “J.D.” Foster, Sr., 75 of Fayette, Alabama.

J.D. was born on September 23, 1943, in North Carolina to the late Riley Houston Foster and Ermmadell Dobbs Foster. He lived many places as a young boy and graduated from Winfield City High School in Winfield, Alabama.  He worked for many years at Chicago Bridge and Iron in Texas and also spent many years as a truck driver. His heart was huge, he never met a stranger and he was friends with everyone.  J.D. had a gift of gab and storytelling was his specialty. He told his stories to everyone, sometimes more than once.  J.D. was one of the best persons you would ever meet.   He enjoyed fishing and Auburn Football.  He loved his family, kids, and grandchildren dearly.  He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Born: September 23, 1943, in North Carolina to the late Riley Houston Foster and Ermmadell Dobbs Foster.

Died: Friday, August 30, 2019, at the DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

No Funeral Service: The Family following J.D.’s wishes have chosen cremation for his final disposition and no formal services will be held. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
