5.23 inches of rain in The Shoals – PHOTOS

THE SHOALS – Although  NWS weather radar showed the heaviest rainfall moving out of the area, the precipitation over the last 24 hours recorded 5.23 inches at Wilson Dam.

The City of Muscle Shoals got a record 3.09 inches, which topped 1992’s amount of 2.01 inches.

A check of Lauderdale and Colbert County Emergency Management Authorities indicated that there were no reported storm-related injuries.

Total of 3.30 inches at my house yesterday. Bet I can get my daffodil bulbs in the ground now.
