SHEFFIELD-The 4th of July is one of the Old Railroad Bridge Company’s biggest fundraisers, and we need extra volunteers to help make the day a success!
“If you’re interested in helping out, please join us for a volunteer meeting:
Date: Tuesday, June 17, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Picnic table on the walking trail leading down to the Old Railroad Bridge
We’d love to have your support—every helping hand makes a difference!”
I’m hopeful we’ll have a great turnout of volunteers.
Mr. Nelson has kindly volunteered to help lead the effort, but it’s going to take a strong team to pull everything off. Here are a few key roles we’ll need to fill:
Parking Coordinator – someone to take charge of managing parking efficiently.
Bridge Entrance Lead – someone experienced to oversee entry, with a couple of helpers.
Music Area Support – a few volunteers in the upper area, if the music portion comes together.
Check-In Table – we’ll need about four people stationed there at all times.
Thank you all for being willing to serve on the board. I look forward to seeing each of you at the meeting!
