Mureff D. White, age 82, of Beaverton, AL, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery. Bro. James Godsey and Bro. Lynn Godsey to officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until service time at 2:00pm.

Mureff was born June 20, 1935 in Monroe County, MS to the late Hugh White and the late Lula Mae Parks. Mureff worked for several furniture companies and later owned and operated his own upholstery business. He was a member of Revelation of Holiness Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and fishing.
