Carolyn Joyce Winsett, 71, of Hamilton Ala., died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton First Baptist Church. Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the church with Eddie Davidson officiating. Interment will be in Barnsville.
She was born on Jan. 25, 1941, in Marion County. Her parents were Calvin Richard Green and Ila Holley Green.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Herbert Winsett; daughter, Terri (Greg) Emerson; son, Shane (Melonie) Winsett; five grandchildren; brothers, Hershel Green, Lemuel Green; sisters, Joann Horton, Jane Tesney, Pat Peoples; host of nieces and nephews.
