Ruby Florence Ray, age 85, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away August 1, 2012 at Lakeland Community Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Haleyville. Visitation will be Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service will be Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Jim Cooley officiating. Burial service will be at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, Addison, at 2:30 p.m. on friday. Mrs. Ray is survived by her children, Sue (Gerald) Beech, Terry (Marie) Ray, Joette (Eddie) Jones and Neina (Laula) Middleton; sisters in law, Wynell Wisner, Idell Carpenter,Chloe Ray; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Bartlett; husband, Hubert Ray; siblings, Marion Bartlett, Harvey Bartlett, Arvel Bartlett, Hettie Cutcher, Nettie Privett, Audrey Bell. Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville is directing.
