ARDMORE – Live music, several vendors, and crape myrtles will be in the Ardmore community the third Saturday of August.
The Greater Ardmore Chamber announced exciting plans for the 30th annual Ardmore Crape Myrtle Festival on August 20, 2022, at John Barnes Park in Ardmore, Tennessee from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
At the present time, the Chamber has 111 booths reserved for the festival. This includes specialty vendors, direct sales vendors, hospitality tents, food vendors and food trucks, and informational booths.
There are several bands scheduled to play throughout the day. Houston Ridge Bluegrass Band will perform at 11 a.m. and JUICE party band from Huntsville at 5 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
The chamber will be selling a variety of colors of Crape Myrtles and festival t-shirts.
“This will be one of the largest festivals the chamber has ever hosted,” said Greater Ardmore Chamber of Commerce Director Yolandia Eubanks. “We encourage everyone to come out and support the town and city of Ardmore and the Chamber.”
Those planning to attend the festival must enter through the entrance on Hamlett Street off Main Street between Piggly Wiggly and King’s Hardware. Parking and entry to the festival is free.
New this year. There will be a children’s paint class taught by Karen O’Connor with Crazy Sista’s at 1 p.m. at the Chamber tent. The cost for the class is $12.
