Janie “Beedy” Louvinia Sockwell, age 88, of Tuscumbia, AL passed away Monday, February 15, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel, with service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Brother Sonny Owens and song leader, Mike Chaney will be officiating. She was a member of Spring Valley Church of Christ.
Mrs. Sockwell was preceded in death by parents, Travis and Alice Isbell; husband, O’Neal Sockwell; and siblings James Isbell (Louise), and Amizona Ford (Shorty).
She is survived by sons, Roger O’Neal Sockwell, Philip Raymond Sockwell (Pam), Tommy Gene Howard (Judy); daughters, Kimberly Sockwell Lowery (Charles), and Regina McNatt (Ronald); brother, Raymond Isbell (Shirley); grandchildren, Kevin Sockwell (Peggy), Jason Sockwell, Mandy Winters (Kevin), Corey Sockwell (Kim), Kris Sockwell (Emie), Lauren Flanagan (Corey), and Cody Lowery; great grandchildren, Taya, Brody, Destin, Nicholas, Blake, Lindsey, Bryson, Grace, Kaylie, Kalvin, Cooper, and a host of loving nieces and nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers are Kevin Sockwell, Jason Sockwell, Corey Sockwell, Kris Sockwell, Cody Lowery, Corey Flanagan, Destin Sockwell, and Kevin Winters
