FLORENCE-Start Something “Reel” Bass Tournament to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Shoals’ programs in Colbert, Franklin and Lauderdale counties will take place at Sheffield Riverfront Park on November 2, 2013 from safe daylight until 2:00 pm. The entry fee is $1000 per boat.
There will also be a fun day of fishing for all those “little” fishermen and 
there will be music by The Whiskey River Kings as well as a magician and concessions will be provided by the Optimist Club.

Big Brothers Big Sisters serves children between the ages of 5 and 15 who are in need of an additional adult role model relationship. These children are matched with a suitable volunteer who spends time with them to promote self-worth, and encourage them to reach their full potential in school, at home and in the community. BBBS have served thousands of children in our 3 county are since 1986. But adult male volunteers to serve as role models for boys in the program are always needed to volunteer visit bbshoals.org
