23rd Annual Trail of Tears Kick Off Schedule

WATERLOO-Waterloo will be hosting the 23rd Annual Trail of Tears Ride & Pow Wow on Wednesday September 14 through Sunday September 18.

To do and see : Featuring helicopter rides, fireworks show, live music and the “End of the Trail Remembrance Pow Wow”, hosted by the AL-TN Trail of Tears Corridor Association & the Town of Waterloo.

Schedule of Events:

Wednesday, September 14 5 PM: Earl Peanut Montgomery, Debbie Hester & Dennis Odom and Sammy Martin.

Thursday, September 15 6-8 PM: The Tosha Hill Band Fireworks Show will begin following the band performance.

Friday, September 16  5 PM: Annual Trail of Tears Potluck Dinner for community and Native Americans 6-8 PM: The Tosha Hill Band 8 PM: Alabama’s Strange Brew Band

Saturday, September 17 7 AM to 10 AM: Waterloo Trail of Tears Community Breakfast, $7 adults, $3 children 10 AM: Walk to the Water 1 PM: Grand Entry, Bikes will arrive at 3 PM 6-8 PM: The Cadillacs 8 PM: The Jackson Legacy Band.

Sunday, September 18 7 AM to 10 AM: Waterloo Trail of Tears Community Breakfast, $7 adults, $3 children 12 Noon: Grand Entry
