Luna Coker Wright, 94, of Florence, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, on her birthday, following a brief illness. Visitation will be noon until 2 p.m. Monday at Greenview Funeral Home with the service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Wright was born in Burnsville, Mississippi, to the late Elmer and Odie Seago Coker. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her husband, George W. Wright, son, William Leroy Wright, granddaughter, Jennifer Wilson, daughter, Carolyn Regan, sister, Ora Cressap, brothers, Alton, Hubert and William Coker.
She is survived by her son, David Wayne Wright; grandchildren, Campbell Rickard, David Wright, Jodi Covey, Titian Scales, Blake Regan, Jason Regan and Justin Regan; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Covey, Alex Rickard, Emma Wright, Zoe Wright, Eli Scales, Grady Richardson, Thomas, Ashton, Katherine, Annalee, Callen and Quillen Regan; special friends, Buddy and Cassandra Jordan, Tina Bevis, Edna Watkins, Judy Goode, Brenda Wright and Julie Stephens.
Pallbearers will be David Wright Jr., Jody Scales, Elex Rickard, Buddy Jordan, Chris Covey and Blake Regan. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason and Justin Regan, Chris Rickard, Dannie Winter and Terry Regan.
